How do I register for this contest?


You need to sign up and create a profile on www.cmws.global To do this, click the Sign Up/ Log In button found on the right hand corner of the website Make sure you are using Chrome or Firefox browser, and not Internet Explorer




Am I qualified to take part in the competition without creating a profile?


No. You must create a profile as worklog posts and updates are all managed through the event site www.cmws.global




Can I enter multiple MODS in the same category, for example two entries in Tower Mod?


Yes. However, each mod is considered an individual entry by the judges and public voting, meaning you must ensure to create worklog posts and final entry posts for all your entries.




Am I allowed to take part in more than one category?

How much information do I need to add to my profile?


Please ensure you have a profile photo, cover photo and add as much information and description of yourself as a modder in the about section.




How do I create my worklog?


Worklogs can be created by clicking ‘Add new worklog post’ on the www.casemodworldseries.com site. Every post you make will be stored in your profile for the community and judges to see.




How many worklog posts do I need to create?


As many as you would like, but the key is to show the entire process of your MOD from start to finish, including photos and videos. This way the judges can see the detail you’ve put into your MOD.




Why is my account disabled?


If you did not complete your profile before the final submissions deadline, we will disable your account or you have violated our terms and conditions.




How do I submit my mod for judging?


You need to create a final submissions post with a title – ‘Your Modding Name – Your Project Name’ i.e. ‘CrazyModz – Project Firefly’ Include a description, Up to 10 Final photos and any videos of your mod, specs. Make sure you choose the category ‘Final Mods’ ‘Scratch or Tower’ and you should be able to see your entry in the ‘VOTE NOW’ tab. You can start this by May 15, 2018.




What is public voting for?


Public voting is for the purpose of deciding the winners of the People’s Choice Award. All mods will be open to public vote through the final submissions gallery page.




What if I started my mod before registration opened?


If you started a project prior to the contest, the start date cannot be earlier than July 1st, 2017. Any mods that are found to have been started/shared prior to July 1st, 2017 will be automatically disqualified.




When is the project completion deadline?


All final submissions are due by July 15, 2018 at 11:59pm (GMT -11).




When will the winners be announced?


All winners will be announced Aug 22, 2018.




How are the winners picked?


Judges will score each mod based on predetermined criteria. The mods with the highest scores will win prizes. The People’s Choice Award prizes will be determined by public voting through the ‘ Vote Now’ tab.




How many winners will be announced this year (2018)?

Why am I having issues with my profile?


If you are using Internet Explorer, please try logging in using a different browser like Chrome or Firefox. Our platform does not work that well with Internet Explorer.
