Codename: "Fuschia" (the work log)
Hello again guys, this is John Patrick Sy Wong of WiP PC Modz (Wong in Project) from PH, I know it's barely 5 days to go before the final submission, and I decided to upload my latest project that was an entry for AMD's mini competition here in Baguio City Philippines. This would be my 2nd entry for #CMWS18, first one was "CM Scout SS" (Super Sport) using Cooler Master Storm Scout 2 chassis, now for Codename: "Fuschia" i'll be using Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5 which was sponsored by #CoolerMasterPH.
I really do love cars, specially customized on the interiors for car shows, that's where i got an idea on this project "Fuschia". Imagine a car's trunk with all the banging speakers and monitor in it? yes I'll be doing an all-in-one PC on this case :)
Here are the parts to be used in this project: (by the way, i transferred most of my parts from the previous work that i made because i lack in pc parts :) )
Chassis: Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5
Motherboard: MSI Tomahawk Arctic b350
Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 w/ EKWB Supremacy Evo
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2800mhz 4x4gb w/ EKWB RAM Monarch x4 Modules
GPU: Sapphire R9 280X 3gb Toxic w/ EKWB Thermosphere
PSU: Seasonic Platinum 1050w
SSD: Plextor NVMe M8PeG M.2 128gb
Monitor: AOC E1670Sw
EKWB DCP 4.0 Pump
ClockWork Industries 120 Reservoir
Black Ice 360 Radiator
Barrow PETG tubes, fittings & flow meter
Then time to rip off the case, will be adjusting the motherboard tray plus flipping it on the other side then rotate it to 180 deg. and for the gpu, it will be 45 deg. tilted.
using some old motherboard for test fitting..
using also some old case for the brace support on the shroud..
another brace for the gpu..
Next i'll be working on the mount of the monitor. The monitor is AOC e1670Sw.
Next is the cover of this side.
in here i used plastic sheet (kinda like an acrylic sheet, its just that it is colored)
then adding some mounting holes for the speakers..
BTW these are the speakers to be used by Fantech:
test fitting everything:
Next up is the paint job:
Using some "Color Master" on this "Cooler Master" MasterCase Pro 5 :)
And a fluorescent pink for the top coat..
Putting the case up together..
and assembling the monitor/speakers on the other side..
then some cover on the rear part..
And transferring of the hardware:
replacing of thermal paste:
Assembling of the EK Thermosphere and repainting of the GPU, Sapphire R9 280x Toxic:
Last part, the watercooling:
and for the final touches,I used acrylic sheets, made it strips and wrapped it on a metallic cover..
Alright so here's the last of the work log, will be uploading final full photos on my next blog.thanks! ;)
