The inspiration of this build came from Cooler Master's very own V8 GTS CPU cooler. I remembered when I saw this cooler I knew exactly what I have to make out of it.
The case will be made from the ground up. I will be using a very interesting material that is usually being a butt of jokes in the PC community to replace non existent components. But most of the time this material shines as the best budget test bench :D
Yep! You guessed it. It's the good old cardboard.
I will be strengthening it with epoxy resin and fiberglass cloth with some bondo or any auto body filler I can find to smooth out the surface.
This is my first ever attempt in scratch building so it will definitely be a challenge. But I'm very excited about this build so I know will enjoy the building process.
Good luck to me and to all the participants! :D
